Menu
“Variety is the spice of life” and Karen Suennen, chef & owner of “The Spice” likes it that way. We want to create a dining experience that is welcoming to everyone.
The menu is diverse and uses spicy ingredients such as wasabi or chili peppers. But, Suennen states “everything on the menu is not hot” trying to include something for every body. On the menu you will find a bit of Caribbean, Thai, Japanese, and Italian cuisine. There is also a children’s menu, and beer and wine are available. We use local ingredients whenever we can says Suennen, who’s half acre home garden provides some of the restaurants herbs, vegetables and flowers. Wild salmon, naturally raised beef, and vegetarian options are also available.
The decor is fun and funky with lots of Suennen’s family photos and findings. Also on display is art from local artists. Live music plays on most Wednesday nights.
We encourage folks to come as they are, so if you are just off the river or ski hill please come in. The restaurant does not take reservations so no need to worry about that either.
